RESPONSIBILITIES: |
|
As a collaborative member of Mancal Energy’s Production Accounting team, key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Responsible for operated and non-operated AB properties from field data capture to financial reporting including:
- Regulatory reporting
- Oil and gas splits
- Receipt of monthly product revenue
- Calculation of all royalties
- Operated gas plant, complex double pro-ration battery and recombined wells
- Revenue booking and balancing
- Financial interface;
- Ensure that all deadlines relevant to the production accounting group are met both internally and externally;
- Coordinate all relevant parties when required, including engineering, marketing and other accounting groups;
- Perform analysis on production, revenue, royalties and reconcile these items to the general ledger;
- Monthly APMC Reconciliation and APMC invoice coding
- Code property-related invoices (trucking) and incoming revenue joint interest billings;
- Manage all PA system master file set ups, changes, royalty and facility charges.
- Assist the operations group when required;
- Project work will be assigned as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: |

To meet the challenge of this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, self-starter who works well in high levels of autonomy.
- Team player with strong communication skills
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience
- CAPPA designation
- Experience with PAS, Metrix and Qbyte FM for monthly processing, practical use of Petrinex, Petrotranz, Prodman, Vital, EnergyLink and Microsoft 365 would be an asset
- Extensive knowledge of Directive 17 and EPAP
- Strong understanding of gas and liquids gas plant allocations
- Financial accounting experience related to oil and gas operations and a CPA designation would be an asset
