We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Field Operator on our team. Mancal Energy Inc. is a well-established oil and gas company with a proven track record of successful exploration and building core operating areas through organic drilling complemented with strategic acquisitions. We are currently in the process of transforming our business with the goal of being one of the most effective and sustainable producers in the industry.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the following:
- Operating duties for gas plants and oil batteries
- Operating pump jacks, both electric and gas powered
- Operation of compression and plunger lift gas wells
- Daily data entry in Prodman

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: |
|
To meet the challenge of this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, self-starter who works well in high levels of autonomy.
- 5+ years of relevant field operations experience.
- Experience with Prodman, Zedi, Detection, Envirosoft, Centrium, Field Safe, and CMDS is an asset.
- Requirements for safety tickets are H2S alive, First Aid / CPR, Ground Disturbance, WHIMIS and TDG.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to multi-task effectively and prioritize.
- Possess troubleshooting skills with an ability to make timely and consistent decisions on a broad variety of topics.
- Must supply own truck, tools, and phone.
