SHORT DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist who possesses a strong understanding of Windows infrastructure, patch management, application deployment, and proactive security measures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating PC & Server deployments, managing Citrix & RDS environments, and implementing robust security protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Infrastructure Specialist is an integral member of the Mancal Information Technology team. Key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

Create and maintain Windows images and deployment technology across the organization.

Implement and manage patch deployments to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.

Package and deliver third-party applications to end-users efficiently.

Manage security measures around corporate browsers, including version management and security updates.

Keep software systems current, addressing upgrades at least once per year to maintain optimal performance and security.

Oversee and manage the remote access environment, ensuring secure and efficient access for remote employees.

Proactively monitor social media and forums to identify and address potential security risks.

Continuously seek opportunities for improvement within the infrastructure and application delivery processes and propose/execute changes to implement enhancements.

Provide problem-solving and troubleshooting support for infrastructure and application issues.

Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell and VB for automation and process improvement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on application delivery.
- Proficiency in Windows infrastructure, including patch management, GPOs, and Active Directory.
- Experience automating PC deployments and scripting languages such as PowerShell and VB.
- Strong knowledge of Citrix & RDS environments and remote access management.
- Familiarity with application packaging and deployment methodologies; Oil and Gas experience a plus!
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
